Let’s start off with shoes. Wedges are a great alternative to high-heels. There isn’t that much pressure on your feet, but you still get that desired height. Wedges go great with anything from jeans to skirts and even sun dresses. So stock up on your favorite wedges this summer because they’re here to stay!
Sun dresses are hot
We saw them last year, and here they are again. All sun dresses are fair game this summer. Weather they’re halter dresses, strapless dresses, or spaghetti strap, there is nothing more feminine. These dresses always remind me of the 50′s (not that I was around back then), but they do have a soft, feminine quality about them. They’re light and very easy to accessorize and wear. So pick up a few this summer in different colors; go crazy!
Flowery accessories are hot
Accessories are always a big part of any ensemble. Since we’re on the subject of feminine styles this summer, accessories are up there too. You’ll see lots of flowery accessories from necklaces to bracelets, brooches and barrettes. Don’t be afraid to don a pretty hair flower accessory this summer, it is seriously all the rage!
Hats are hot
We saw a lot of celebrities donning cute fedoras and big floppy hats in the late spring and they have definitely made it to summer! Hats are one of the biggest trends this season. They are perfect for hiding a bad hair day and they protect your face from exposure to the sun. What else could a girl want? Try a simple fedora with jeans and a baggy top for a casual summer look or a big floppy hat, sunglasses and a sun dress for a more sophisticated beachy look.
Sunglasses are hot
Well, this shouldn’t be news. Sunglasses are always hot! Not only do they help protect your eyes but they also look totally fab! I mean, who doesn’t love sunglasses? My favorite things about sunglasses is that you can find fabulous sunglasses at really affordable prices. My favorite pair of sunglasses cost me $10! The huge variety in styles and prices enables you to purchase multiple pairs so you can mix and match with different outfits.
Hi-low skirts are hot
While this trend may not be for everyone, it is definitely something i think everyone should try at-least once. High low skirts are very boho chic. They kind of remind me of Pocahontas for some odd reason. They are a great alternative to traditional summer skirts because they look a little more chic and effortless. Try them with cute sandals and tank top.
Colored denim is hot
While i am not a fan of wearing jeans in the Summer, i am totally loving the bright denim trend! This is a trend that anyone can pull off. If you are one of those people who sticks to t-shirts and jeans, this is the perfect trend for you! You can stick to your casual style while adding a little pop of color for a more fashionable look!
